"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2 NIV

Former FBI Director James Comey's highly anticipated testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee yesterday has been the talk of the town for weeks. The build up, and now the aftermath, have placed James Comey squarely in the public eye, with people from all sides jeering, cheering, doubting, and believing. Although he himself is not on trial, being the target of such public ire is an incredible burden to bear, with every move made and every word said scrutinized closely. Consider if that was you, seated before a panel of powerful people, being interrogated. Remember back to times in your life where you felt isolated, analyzed, judged, or ridiculed. In Chapter 6 of Paul's letter to the Galatians, he explains in very simple terms what it means to be a Christian. One facet is verse 2 (above), instructing us to carry each other's burdens.

Pray today that God reveals someone in your network of friends and family who needs help with their burden.
