The Puerto Rican people are in the midst of what the mayor of San Juan is calling a "humanitarian crisis." After Hurricane Irma and Maria rolled through, the island and its people are in desperate need of aid and prayer. While most media outlets have shifted away from the real suffering of the Puerto Ricans in favor of more controversial stories, those who have kept their eye on the ball have continued to send aid to the Puerto Ricans . Since we are now in the full scale healing effort, there is only one place to look. In Jeremiah, it says, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise." Jeremiah had it right when he wrote this, because healing starts when our hands go up in praise. Praise Jesus today for the lives spared and for the lives about to change for God's goodness in Puerto Rico. Pray for continued healing and aid for those in need.

"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise." -- Jeremiah 17:14 NIV
