Such has been done by countless Presidents and Congress before, a landmark piece of legislation was passed yesterday. Both sides of the political equation still stand opposed over this tax reform bill, causing many of us to follow in opposition or support. On the precipice of change, it is important to remember that the world will continue spinning and God will continue ruling until the day He decides it is time for Jesus to return. Therefore, deliverance nor damnation comes from what transpires in Washington, DC. In Psalms, it says,”From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.” Take heart in the fact that living in the present by faith and not by sight will result in eternal life. It is when we place too much emphasis on paradise now that we fall victim to a life lived in discontent. Today, refocus your celebrations or protests back towards Jesus, giving praise to Him for another day and another breath. Use this day and that breath to praise Him!
