Happy #ElevatedFriday! Today we highlight the incredible power that the public sharing of faith can have. Last Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl, but it was after the game that something truly amazing happened. The Eagles Head Coach, Doug Pedersen, as well as the team Quarterback and game MVP, Nick Foles, both gave the glory to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on national television. Soon after, the hero of the game, Tight End Zach Ertz , who scored the winning touchdown, gave in interview in which he proclaimed his top priority in life to be making disciples for Jesus. It has been well documented this season how Christianity has played a major role in the team’s success and cohesiveness. Seeing that faith proclaimed on such a large stage truly shows how incredible our God is!

While our platforms in life may not reach as many as a Super Bowl winning team, we each still have audiences to how we live our lives. In Psalm 96, it says, “Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” Jesus’ glory is shown to us in everything we do, thus we should always be prepared to sing his praises! Mountains are moved when we use the platform we are given to share our faith. Today, sing Jesus’ praises and proclaim his salvation. Give thanks to Him for your many blessings.

“Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” – Psalm 96: 2-3 ESV
