The successful first summit between Kim Jong-Un and President Trump was a significant step toward peace in the world. The apparent stark change in the way the North Korean leader is acting is not unlike changes we all go through in life, albeit more dramatic. But we all go through changes in life, sometimes it is a gradual shift in thinking because of maturity, growing wisdom, or outside influences. Other times it is a stark and immediate pivot in the way we think and act. Take for instance the Apostle Paul. Before he converted to Christianity (and became the most prolific evangelist in the Bible), he actively persecuted those who worshiped Jesus. But after Jesus appeared to him, he changed his path and never looked back. It is proof that what man cannot change, Jesus can. Today, give what is holding you back from positive change to Jesus and allow him to work within you for His glory.

“ Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized.” — Acts 9:17-18 NIV
