Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there! Since Biblical times, fathers have had a distinct role as the leaders of their household and the one from whom children receive their instruction in the Lord. Today, the world is filled with lost children of God who need a father figure to redirect them back to their Heavenly Father. It is never too late to steer a lost child of God back to their Father. In Proverbs, it says, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Any of us - man or woman - can be the one who acts as an earthly father should to fulfill his most sacred duty —to point his children to God in all he does. Today, thank God for being the good and loving father He is and seek to be a father-figure to those who still need to find their Heavenly Father.
