As we close out another year, we all think back to the days and hours that defined this year of our lives. We all experienced both good and bad, triumph and defeat, and highs and lows this year. We made decisions that we are now seeing the consequences of — whether for gain or loss. But whatever we did this year, no matter the decisions made, relationships lost, or fortunes spent, God has been working to create a better, more faithful child within us. Paul wrote, “I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." No matter how good or bad your year has been, know this: God’s not done working on you. Today, rest in His goodness and believe that what He has started He will continue to work for good in the coming year.
