Despite an offer for compromise, our government remains shutdown. If the path forward for our government were a road, we would all be stuck at a dead end right now. There is only one solution for when we are stuck in a dead end in our lives and it is found in the Bible. In Colossians, it says, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” When you’re stuck at a dead end, forgiveness is what will chart a new path forward. Today pray for our leaders to work towards forgiveness towards each other and if you are facing a dead end in your life, ask God who you need to be forgiving to break free.
