Failure is a part of life that we all face at times. Whether it is in our careers, our relationships, or in our decision making, failure is always tough to stomach and can leave a lasting impression upon our outlook on life. Failure can also hold us back from pursuing what God has prepared for us because we fear its’ consequences so strongly. But Failure is simply an event, not a label or life sentence. When we have faith in God, our failures lead us back to God for support and help us to learn and grow towards a better future. In Hebrews, Paul wrote, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” And in Luke, it says, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” With faith, the things we cannot see but hope for are possible only when God is present in our lives. Faith turns failure into success in progress. Today, if you are dealing with failure or are frightened to try something because you might fail, have faith and step out knowing God will catch you.
