What right and wrong in the eyes of the Lord is far different than what is right and wrong in the eyes of the world. We are compelled each day to think certain ways, agree with certain people, and be angry at other people. When we live in such a way -- day by day, week by week, relying on what new information comes to us hour by hour -- we fail to see the big picture and what is truly important. The Bible says, “The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” Our true reward in life lies after life, not during. Heaven is forever, but political triumph is fleeting. How we respond to the pressures of our days will decide both our lives now and in Heaven. Today, if you feel yourself being swayed away from the will of God, turn get off social media and dig into your Bible.

“The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” – 1 John 2:17 NIV
