There is a lot to be anxious about these days. We see and hear things every day that cause us concern for the future of our nation, the world, as well as ourselves and our families. Our minds can do great things to overcome the challenges the world puts in our path but our minds can also stand in the way of what our souls know to be true: God has got this. Psalm 139 says, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” When our minds tell us to be fearful, trust your soul telling you the goodness of God. Today, take courage in the face of all that is going on because deep in our souls, we know that God is still in control.
