Most people today would agree this nation is in need of great healing from the wounds of division, hatred, and envy that have plagued us for generations. The Lord is the healer of all things and thus is the one we must all turn to in order to find healing. Just as the sick girl in Mark chapter 5 had such great faith in Jesus that she believed just touching his clothes would heal her, so we must also believe that having a relationship with Him will heal every last wound within us, and therefore, our nation. In Mark 5, Jesus said to that faithful girl, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” We too can access this freedom through faith in Christ. For greater faith leads to greater healing. Greater healing leads to greater witness. Greater witness leads to greater purpose. Today, seek to deepen your relationship with Jesus by opening up new wounds you’ve kept hidden to Him, and allowing Him to heal them completely.
