The US officially moved its Israeli embassy to Jerusalem yesterday, signaling its recognition of it as the capital of the Jewish state. With such danger inherent in the Middle East at the hands of terrorism and state sponsors of it, such a move is a bold one and not without risks. What decisions do you face today that require bold action, but you are fearful to make because of the risks? Fear not but take heart in the God who goes before you, fights your battles on your behalf, and will protect you in His mighty hands. It says in Psalm 125, “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore.” Today, have the courage to step out in faith, trusting that the Lord will be there, building you a bridge each day to guide you to His destination.
