Last week was a contentious one in the news cycles, and after a weekend away from a lot of those stories, we now start another week. The peace we had on Sunday, worshipping and pouring our hearts out to God, seldom seems to carry over into Monday during rush hour traffic. Once there, peace seems out of our grasp until 5 pm Friday. This lack of peace leads us to conflict with others — both those we come in contact with and those we hear about in the news. But when we begin each day by worshipping and pouring our hearts out to God, that same peace we have on Sunday morning can be ours every day. Because as God promises Moses in Exodus, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” When you have peace in God, you can make peace with others. Today, start your day pouring out what is on your mind and worship Jesus throughout the day.

“And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” — Exodus 33:14 ESV
