Merry Christmas! Today we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a truly joyous occasion because the birth of Jesus allowed for all of us to draw closer to God. Joy is the best word to describe the birth of Jesus and it is no coincidence that it was the word the angels used to proclaim his birth to the shepherds in the Bible. Joy to the world, the Lord has come! Today, spread the joy of the coming of our Lord to all and give thanks to God for giving us all the greatest gift we could ever hope for.
