As France turns their attention towards the rebuilding of the iconic Notre Dame cathedral, the world, too, is in need of repair. There are far too many people who do not know Jesus, who give into sin without care or remorse, or who foment hatred towards their fellow man. God is the great healer but healing from the Lord requires unquestioned faith in His great works. Too often, we reach for other worldly things – bad relationships, alcohol, drugs, and others – for healing but find their effects short lived and empty. Jeremiah expressed this idea of ultimate healing from God, saying, “Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” Healing from the Lord is the only lasting form of healing but also requires the most of us. Today, if you are in need healing and rebuilding, begin by proclaiming your faith boldly and publicly. Proclaiming Jeremiah 17:14 is a great place to start.

“Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.” – Jeremiah 17:14 NIV
