The political upheaval ongoing in Venezuela is concerning for all people there. While the ousting of President Maduro and his cruel regime is a good thing, the good people of the country are currently in danger to do so. The Bible tells us that God hears us and responds when we pray together for others. In James, it says, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” There is power in corporate prayer because God loves when we join together to reach out to Him in order to help others. Today, join together in prayer for the people of Venezuela as well as any others you know who are in need of aid.

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” – James 5:16 ESV
