Each week brings with it anxiety, uncertainty, and challenges at the same time it brings successes, highs, and reassurances. But sometimes, between the lows and the highs, we feel stress, especially these days when we are all having to self-quarantine. With stress comes a little voice inside us that says we are not going to make it, we’re not good enough, or things will fall apart when we last expect it. That voice, for many of us, rules our attitude and thoughts. God has something to say about that in Isaiah though. He says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” When we are stressed, God’s voice is the one in our minds that speaks peace, calm, love, and support. Today, block out the voices that are not God’s and focus just on His encouragement, love, and support.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10 ESV
