Yesterday was Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week and the day we remember Jesus’ arrival into Jerusalem. As he rode in on the back of a donkey, the crowds cheered for him and welcomed his arrival by placing jackets and palm branches on his path. We’re now in a time when we are looking down the road, hoping and praying for Jesus to arrive and help us. The power to overcome this pandemic is only found through Jesus and through our faith in this time, all will work out as God intended — for good. As we all await an end to this pandemic, change your mindset to eagerly awaiting Jesus’ bringing good to the world through this. Make way for Jesus in your life today. By his hand we will get through this pandemic.

“A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,“Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” — Matthew 21:8-11 NIV
