The nation eagerly awaited the first two astronauts to lift off from the US in many years yesterday, and even though the mission was delayed because of weather, it was still a fun day of anticipation. We've all been dealing with a lot in the last couple months, and yesterday’s exciting (almost) launch was a brief reprieve from our constant worries and political debates. Even when the things around us seem most dire, it is important in life to step back and remember that whatever the Lord is doing, it is good. It will not always feel that way, but it is good because He promised us that He will bring us hope and a future. Psalm 77 says, “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.” Today, no matter what you are facing, remember the good deeds of the Lord and trust that what He is doing now is good, too.

“I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.” – Psalm 77:11 ESV
