Jesus said, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Some may read this selfishly, thinking “Ok, all I have to do is start giving and then I will be blessed.” However giving in order to receive is not giving at all. Giving in order to be blessed isn’t about personal gain, it’s about learning to give when we have little before we are blessed with a lot. When we show God that we give with no reservations nor expectations, only then will God bless us with more so that we can give even more. Today, consider your giving practices and how they could be improved in order to bless others.
