In just studying the first few chapters of Genesis, one truth becomes apparent: God is always purposeful and makes no mistakes. There's not enough time to dive into all the intricacies, foreshadowing, and obvious forethought that went into the ways in which God created the world, everything in it, and us; however, suffice it to say, when He said it was "very good," it was "very good." But what can we learn from that today? Especially when we see so much going wrong in the world, even now including increasing saber-rattling between the US and Russia. We can trust that because God makes no mistakes, he didn't make a mistake putting us on the earth in this time. Putting each of us in the world, and having us wake up this morning, was purposeful. Since man was created, God has been in partnership with us -- working with us, for us, and through us to bring glory to himself. Is there a doubt that even when times are darkest, He will use us again to bring glory to His name? There is nothing to be accomplished complaining about what we see in the world, but everything to be accomplished for the glory of God by acting upon the purpose He has put us here for. Today, put aside complaints of wanting the world to be this way or that way, and instead, act boldly to make it God's way.

"This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him." - Psalm 18:30

" And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." -- Romans 8:28

"Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure." -- Psalm 147:5
