Grabbing the nation's attention today has been Attorney General Jeff Sessions' testimony on the Russian investigation, and response to Former FBI Director James Comey's testimony last week.. In such a highly politicized environment that our country has today, it is easy to be swept up in political furor. However, Jesus does not call us to do what is easy. Jesus calls us to place our faith and hope in Him, and to trust Him above all else, in all situations. Psalm 40 reminds us that the blessed turn to the Lord in times of temptation and strife, and turn from "the proud" as they will lead us astray. Commit your heart to Jesus today, that you will turn to him, come what may.
