In the constant back and forth of the presidential race, we may know what we believe and who we side with politically, but not always how we can articulate our reasons in a loving and understanding way. More importantly, we do not always know how to communicate with wisdom and care in our daily lives with the people we interact with. We all will not be polished communication professionals, but when we call upon Jesus as Lord, we do not have to be in order to speak with wisdom and care. Jesus warned us that we will be challenged by our adversaries in life, but not to worry about such times because he would be with us. He said, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.” The only way to consistently speak with wisdom and care is to allow Jesus to do the talking for us. Today, as you interact with others, allow Jesus to do the talking for you.
