The legendary evangelist Rev. Billy Graham passed away early Wednesday morning, ending the life of an incredible servant of God who brought the redemptive message of Jesus to billions across the world. His life is an inspiration to any who wish to share Jesus. In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the Parable of the Bags of Gold, a story that illustrates our great calling to take what God blesses us with and work hard to grow it for His glory. One of the most memorable verses from this parable is this, “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’” Rev. Graham did this in his life on an incredible platform he was given by the Lord. But we too can and should strive to share the gospel just as fervently. Good and faithful servants always give their best efforts for their masters. Today, consider how you can give your best effort to glorify God in all you do.
