The future of Washington, DC is uncertain right now, as multiple investigations persist, midterm elections loom, and the country remains divided. In such times of uncertainty, our survivalist minds tell us that we must form conclusions now and forge our way forward based upon them. But what happens tomorrow when we jump to conclusions today? Our tomorrow is based upon the conclusions we reached today. The only conclusion God wants us to jump to each day is to follow Him. Any other decision we make, not as a result of that first and most crucial decision, only steers us away from God and creates worry and stress in our lives. In Philippians, it says, "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Today, rather than jump to conclusions about what you see and hear around you, first make the decision to follow God and cling to that decision when facing any others.

"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
