The Mueller investigation and the White House’s response to it continue to be an ongoing drama in the news, eliciting harsh and judgmental reactions from both sides. While there are times in life to stand strong in your convictions, we are told by the Apostle Paul that we must always be humble and gentle—including in those trying times in our lives. He says in Ephesians, “Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” Love doesn’t click together two perfectly shaped puzzle pieces, meant for one another. Love fills the gaps between otherwise incongruent shapes to bring them together. Today, remember that no matter how different someone else may be from you, your love for them can bring them close.
