President Trump’s highly anticipated summit with Russian President Putin is making big news this week. While opinions are split on whether President Trump should be meeting with Putin, any efforts towards peace are good efforts. In his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” While true peace requires both parties’ buy-in, we can all strive to be peacemakers in all we do. Today, pray for God’s hand upon the summit and for peace. Pray also for the grace and strength to be a peacemaker in all you do.
