With the amount of news and opinion content swirling around the internet and TV, parsing through it all to find the truth is a task of which no man is truly capable. A healthy dose of skepticism against any claims made about others is a necessity for one to remain levelheaded, calm, as well as compassionate. More than anything, we must know from where our truth comes. Each day, we must remind ourselves that our truth does not come from the news media – it comes from God. In Psalm 25 it says, “Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.” Asking God to daily lead you in His truth will ensure your footsteps do not veer from His good path. Like an arrow shot towards a target, by following God’s truth, no wind, rain, or obstacle can steer it off course of the bull’s-eye. Today, ask God to lead you in His truth and rest easy knowing you are heading in the right direction.

“Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.” – Psalm 25:5
