As we begin a new week, the hustle and bustle with which we all step into our work day can make the peace we felt on Sunday seem far away. But in order to both have peace and success in life, they both begin by grounding our day in faith and worship. Jesus is accessible each day to all of us if we just pause to connect with him. But sometimes we can feel as if Jesus is far away from us when we try to communicate. One of the biggest reasons for this is because we do not pause what we are doing in order to focus 100% on our conversation with Jesus. As he said in Matthew, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” The peace we all seek each day is available to us by pausing our life to focus on prayer. Today, take 10 minutes to pause everything else in your life and just focus on speaking with Jesus.
