With the elections coming up next week, it is safe to say that political tensions are high. For some, this has turned to real anger, hate, and violence. We all have times in our lives when anger boils up because something we are passionate about is not working the way we feel it should. But if we release that anger onto those around us, either in the form of words or actions, it can have disastrous consequences. The Bible says, “For the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” Our anger can bring about many things, but none are ever good or righteous. At the end of the day, you’ll never regret releasing your anger to Jesus. Today, if you are holding onto anger, release it to Jesus and allow His peace and comfort to be present in your heart and mind.
