News surrounds us these days — whether on social media, 24-hour news networks, or push alerts on our phones — and it is hard to escape it. Information has also never been easier to obtain. With nothing but a few keystrokes into Google, we can be researching complex topics from our living rooms. But with all the preponderance of news and information, there are still answers that elude us. Sometimes we forget that the Bible is not just a book of religion or life lessons, it is God’s Word to us and for us. It exists so that we may know God and live according to the way He established for us. In Jeremiah, God proclaims, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” No matter how much information we can search for and find, the wisdom we need to live by exists only in the Bible. Today, put down your phone and pick up your Bible to search for the answers you seek.

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:3 NIV
