We begin another week that is sure to be full of responsibilities, stress, and challenges — and that is just from the things in our lives that we can control! Outside of that, we always have issues and swirling news stories that are beyond our control, but nonetheless can affect our mood, attitude, and overall thoughts. Fortunately we serve a God who is ever present in our lives for support so long as we acknowledge his presence and seek his word. In Psalms, it says, “When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” God replaces our anxiety with joy when we trust that He is always with us and is always leading us towards freedom and peace. Today, if you are dealing with some anxiety, ask God to continue leading you today to where He wants you to be and trust that place is good.
