The big news of yesterday was the announcement by the DOJ of a case of fraud and bribery in college admissions, catching a couple of well-known actresses and their families in the crosshairs. The sad state of society today is that underhanded and deceitful behavior like this does happen frequently. The way we deal with each other, both in business and in personal relationships, reveals our true character. If we are not open and honest at all times with one another, we betray the teachings of the Bible. In Leviticus, it says succinctly, “You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.” Today, if you are not being honest with others in your life, ask Jesus for the courage to speak up and speak with the complete truth.

“You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.” — Leviticus 19:11 ESV
