People today have all sorts of thoughts about themselves and the world around them. When was the last time we audited the things we think about on a daily basis to see how they compare to what Jesus tells us is the truth? All Christians would say they believe in the Word of God. But in a world that seems to spin faster and faster each year, when we do not consistently audit the things we are actually telling ourselves on a daily basis, in reality, we can start to drift away from Jesus. Paul tells us, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Living a Christian life means striving to keep our daily thoughts in line with the teachings of Jesus. Today, be purposeful in auditing your thoughts and beliefs to be sure they are in following of Jesus.
