This week has been full of partisan squabbles over the Mueller Report, immigration, and countless other issues. It has been an endless saga of one side complaining about one thing, the other forcing some other issue on them, followed by some sort of proud and virtue based response meant to demonize the first side. On and on it goes. The political theater that our government engages in today begs the question, “If all our time is spent thinking how we can expose, defeat, or leverage the other side, when do we expect to accomplish anything together?” The Bible tells us, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” In life, we get the results of our labors as well as our attitudes. Good things happen when we labor well and bring a Godly attitude to our work. Today, if you are lacking in one of these areas, consider how you can change either your work ethic or mindset to accomplish the things you want in Jesus’ name.
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” -- Philippians 4:8 ESV
