We all want to live a life of consequence, but what the world tells us that means often confuses us, puts undue pressure on us, and subsequently, leads us astray from the life God has set out for us. A life of consequence does not mean we must be a famous leader or celebrity influencer. We all forget who influenced us to do or buy certain things but always remember who influenced us to come to Christ. As any follower of Christ says, that is the single greatest decision of their lives. Therefore, in order to live a life of consequence, all we must focus on is living for Jesus and leading others to Him. Paul knew this, and said as much in his letter to the Romans, saying, “Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.” Today, if you have been struggling with what you feel you should be doing to be successful and what you actually are, give that stress to God and believe that in leading others to Him, your path will be a straight one.
