The Supreme Court made news with a decision yesterday and is sure to make more waves as the next month continues. They are given the power in our society to make the most importance decisions on the issues of the day. We inevitably will sometimes agree with their decisions and sometimes disagree. But if the world around us is changing or being shaped in ways that we disagree with, it does not mean that we cannot still lives happy, fulfilled, and blessed lives. No matter what society says are the norms, we each have the choice to follow the word of God. When we do, that is when we find the happiness, fulfillment, and blessings we seek. The Bible tells us, “As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.” The key to happiness in a world gone astray is believing that God’s way is the best way. Today and everyday, instead of being angered by what goes on in the world around you, take refuge in the presence of God and choose to live accord to His word.
