Special Counsel Bob Mueller made a rare and interesting public statement yesterday, sending the media and anyone who pays attention to politics into a tornado of speculation as to what will happen next. It’s no secret that many people are frustrated at Washington these days no matter what side of the political aisle they side with. But when things move too fast, mistakes are made. In addition, when the politics of power outweigh the desire to do good, regret is the consequence. The Bible tells us, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Sometimes it gets hard to just keep doing good. Sometimes our desire for reward, power, recognition, or just simple frustrations cause us to act in ways we regret later. Regret is the natural result of allowing frustrations to change our behavior. Today, no matter what the media and political parties may be spinning or speculating, remain firmly committed to continuing your good works.
