There’s never been a day we have lived that we have not needed a little grace from others. Whether it be our parents when we were a baby, our friends and teachers when we struggled or acted out in school, or our co-workers as adults. There is no way for any of us to be perfect, so grace is needed for any of us to carry on in life. When we find grace no where else, Jesus still extends it to us, as it says in Ephesians, “But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.” But how disheartening is it when we feel like because of something we’ve done, we cannot ever be forgiven or ever be respected again? As God’s children, forgiven through grace by Jesus, we are the ones whom Jesus expects to extend grace on his behalf to the lost. Today, be the person who extends grace to someone whom everyone else is withholding it from.

“But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.” — Ephesians 4:7 NIV
