We live in a world that gives us every reason to doubt our faith. Everyday, when we watch the news, it’s one bad story after the other. But consider this: what better way does the enemy have in creating doubt than not telling us the whole story? The enemy loves to leave out the happy endings, the rebounds, the comebacks, and the nuggets of goodness in every story. It’s easy to find the bad in anything but difficult to find the good. Sometimes the good comes from a change in perspective, other times simply with time. But there is nothing that ruins bad news like having faith that it will turn out for good one day. The Bible says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” What we need in the face of bad news is faith — in large quantities. Nothing grows faster than faith when faith is exercised. Today, if you are lacking in faith that what you are experiencing will lead to good, exercise your faith each and every day and watch it grow.
