The Presidential Election took another big step forward on Super Tuesday as the Democratic Party continued to hone its field of candidates while the Republican Party stuck with the President. Voting is an important part of being an American and its importance to our society can not be overstated. However, those who would seek to replace Godly morals and a relationship with Jesus with a vote and excitement about a candidate have confused their responsibility as a Christian. In John, Jesus says, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” Voting changes leadership but prayer changes hearts. A Godly future in our country cannot exist without both. Today, remember to place your faith in Jesus and in prayer, not in a vote in November.
