Our world is always in need of wise leaders who think of others before themselves. Sometimes it can seem like wisdom is something we either have or don’t have — and in some cases, something we have little hope of ever acquiring. But wisdom is unlike intelligence or knowledge. It isn’t measured by IQ, GPA, or even bank account size. It isn’t a matter of whether you know something or not. Wisdom is the seeking of God’s Word before anyone else’s. In James, it says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” Today, change the way you approach life and the challenge you face to seek God’s Word on it before anything else.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” — James 1:5 NIV
