The Vice Presidential debate took place last night and naturally, the media buzz today is around who won and what each candidate said (or didn’t say). These are the moments when there is so much talk about a certain subject that it is easy to believe we have heard enough and know enough to make a good decision. As with any decision in life, we have never fully thought things out until we pray over it and seek God’s word on it. Proverbs says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” We’re all called to make decisions in life but choosing to consult only our own feelings and own thoughts is a mistake. Today, if you are facing a decision either in your life or the election, pray on it and seek God’s word on it.
