Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed as the newest Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Monday evening. While both sides of the aisle hold different opinions of the process and newly confirmed Justice herself, she is an established leader in our government, which means we are called to pray for her. It says in 1 Timothy, “Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.” No matter what we may personally feel about someone, lifting them up in prayer only brings goodness. Today, lift up Justice Amy Coney Barrett and all of our leaders in prayer.
