With the election results still being counted, patience is the word of the day. Romans says, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” While at the time of this writing, both candidates still have paths to victory and both sides are hoping for their desired outcome, that is not the hope that we are called to rejoice in. The hope we have in Jesus is the hope we must all focus on and give thanks for. No matter who wins, Jesus is still King and our eternity is safe in his grace. Today, rejoice in the hope of Jesus, be patient in awaiting what comes next, and be constant in prayer.
